Good lookin' out on pushin' thru this basically dope page of mine. "Dope, like a pound or a key....." but let me get back to scribblin' this (auto)biography. Yeah, indeed I scribble my own. WHAT YOU THOUGHT?!?! I had a ghostwriter?? Ha ha YO bad. So yeah....I gotta thing for the wordplay. Think "gotta thing like".....rich people gotta thing for vacations. Ya follow me. Me and words go back like high school sweethearts. Been scribblin' and into the rap scene for awhile now. And when I say awhile, I mean like, I grew up in a part of COMPTON THAT'S LEGENDARY FOR MAKIN' RAP MUSIC. In the days of wayback, I saw enough to know enough right now, ya dig. Sheeeit, I can take you to Speed house right now and show you where en double u a is struck up on the wall. Guess who else used to stay on my street?? Candyman. Come on, you remeber "knockin' the boots"?? I remember they was in that ugly ass limo from the video ( friggin' maserati or somethin' ), parked on my street.... i had just saw the video on the box and was blown away. By the time my neighbor Mel-Low got signed to a division of Def Jam - after an intense swapmeet hustle and a video called "First Day of School" - I was scribblin' my ass off. I remember I had this girlfriend who had flow for real; She saw my rhymebook and was clownin' like " this shit is whack ". I DUMPED HER ASS shortly thereafter and if I see her now, I WILL eat her ass up. On spot! I ain't neva been or gonna be a whack MC. Believe dat. So let's see....oh yeah. Growing up in this wonderful Hub City and seeing all the musical history being made with my own two eyes....that's where I get the ESSENCE of my music from. Before I keep it movin' lemmee give props to Tweedy Bird Loc, Sin Loc & Blue Rag (Bangin' On Wax), CPO and At Will. These is my big homies and all dropped some memorable albums..straight outta Compton. Yeah tho... back to the lecture at hand. I start livin' that hoodlife and had a couple of homies in my generation who rapped too; We formed the Original Young Hoods and start plottin' on gettin' an album together. Unfortunately, it never manifested due to a couple of DISAGREEMENTS with the state of cali and the da. At the same time, $ kept us with a burnout phone during the stretches and we did manage to get alotta songs done over the phone; With intentions to drop the album once the beast threw up from overfeeding. follow me now. By the time that actually happen it was 2003. We laid our first track together ( mdEUCE, Noonie Dogg and Young Bone RNP ), "The Return" for RunOff Records at Maniac Music. It came out dope and was well worth the wait. There was a few heads lookin' forward to hearing us all together and it was lookin' all good. The homies had made some local noise with "The Hated Poject" and their clique up with LEG ( The Institution ), Bokie and the homie A Bo before I touched down. Young Bone was being sought after by the doc but the negotiations feel apart when our manager, my BIG homie Ant Dogg RNP died in a car crash. So we was hittin' the booth up, lookin' forward to getting on Hard White 2 and pursuing our dreams. Then Young Bone got murdered.............................. Me and Noonie kept pushin'....the fire was there but we was just gettin' used to rappin' together and we somewhat struggled with the adjustment of having just 2 members. Yet we kept dem pens scribblin'.... .Noonie got one of the coldest pens anybody could ever read. Waaay more dope than me. We start recording with Bokie and was making good progress nevertheless. Then I got an opportunity to work wit tha lil homie lil E and Noonie was like " make it happen". Unfortunately, it did'nt work out as planned. Or maybe it did. The energy and the work I was to do with the homie, ended up transferring to my own project, which ended up being iNSTANT cLASSIC. I called it that because that's what I envision it to be. Whether now or later, that's what it is, an instant classic. For my first project, I think it came out very good. I wanted to not only diversify my writing of it but also and probably more importantly, my sound. Not just the sound of my voice (which I manipulated extremely on "Let's Roll") but the sound of my music. So yeah, iNSTANT cLASSIC...... we still pushin' that. Pressing up more cd's right now and workin' to book some more shows real soon. At the same time, I'm workin' on a new project which is untitled as of now. Check the flavor of it .." with Noonie Dogg & my homie Rhep outta Lynwood. yeah, me and my partner in rhyme is back at it. Meanwhile..........The spirit of Young Bone is with us strong in these days and we building on that. Aside from myself and my fans, i make the music for my homie restin' in peace. He was doper than me by far and never got the chance to nurture his talents in this lifetime. Rest eternally homie. Don't trip....I got this and in due time the world gonna hear the music.
